Welcome To The Sunny Blue Skies Of Albuquerque,
NM
The skies aren't always blue, but they come real close. In an average year
the sun shines about 350 days. When there are clouds in the sky they often come in the form of
playful cirrus clouds or smooth lenticular clouds that look like giant space ships observing us from
afar.
On the following pages there
are pictures of some of the spectacular clouds we often see in the sky above the city. The four seasons
are also represented in pictures, from the bright colors of Spring in bloom to the festive colors of
Christmas and the rare Albuquerque snow storm.
Live weather readings from the Davis Vantage Pro2
weather station on my roof are available 24 hours a day. There is also a link to the live weather
station at the Del Norte Gun Club Northwest of Albuquerque. Other weather information is also
available for those of you who are weathernuts like me.
Our links pages provide you with news of the world,
presented in the form of links to various news sites covering all points of view. I must admit, though
they are heavily weighted toward sites that are more conservative. Through trial and error, and quite a
bit of independent research, I have found the conservative sites tend to offer a more factual account of
what is really going on in the world.
The quick reference page contains links to
Government sites from New Mexico to Washington, DC. There are also handy links to shopping sites,
search engines, and radio stations to listen to your favorite programs on the internet wherever you
are.
And then there is the Second Amendment link.
The only thing closer to my heart than the weather is the freedom that this amendment grants to us.
Read the amendment, then take a look at the links to various firearm manufacturers and ammunition
suppliers as well as places to shoot in the greater Albuquerque area.
